Settings and Features that are Not Applicable to Linux Client
This section lists settings and features that, while available on either the Windows or NetWare platforms, are not available for use from a Linux client.
I*net Data Server
You cannot use a Linux client to connect to an application using the I*net Data Server feature. As such, there is no configuration settings for IDS present in the Linux client. This includes the following settings:
TCP/IP Timeout
You configure this as part of your Linux system settings, so the Pervasive setting has no meaning here.
