Uninstalling Pervasive.SQL Server
The uninstall program removes all Pervasive.SQL Server components from your system that were added by the installation program.
The uninstall program does not remove the following:
- Databases that you create under the Pervasive.SQL Server installation directory (which is C:\PVSW by default).
- DSNs and database names associated with those databases.
- Databases in locations other than the Pervasive.SQL Server installation directory.
- DSNs and database names associated with those databases.
To uninstall Pervasive.SQL Server:
- Access Add/Remove Programs from Control Panel on your Windows operating system.
- Click Pervasive.SQL NT Server in the list.
- Click the button to remove a program. The button may be labelled Add/Remove or Remove.
- Click Next.
- Click the Remove option.

A dialog appears that informs you the program is ready to begin removing Pervasive.SQL Server. At this point, if you want, you may click Back to change or review any of the settings, or click Cancel to exit the uninstall program.
- Click Remove to begin the uninstall process.
- Click Finish when the uninstall program completes.
- Reboot your system if prompted to do so.
