This manual contains information about using the Pervasive.SQL V8 client software for Linux. Prior to this release, a client for Btrieve applications that run on Linux was not available; you could only use ODBC or JDBC interfaces from a Linux client.

This manual contains only information that is not available in the main online documentation for Pervasive.SQL V8. The purpose of this manual is to support the separate Linux client distribution that will initially be available when the software is released. After the Linux client has been integrated into the general product installations, this manual will be discontinued.
