Creating Client DSN

To create a client DSN, you use the dsnadd utility included with the Linux client. This utility is documented outside of this publication. See the links at the end of this section for documentation references.

The dsnadd utility allows you to create a DSN that you can use to connect to a database on a remote server.

dsnadd -dsn=<clientdsn> -host=<servername>  
		-sdsn=<serverdsn>
